Hotel is updated and clean from inside, you can tell staff takes pride in what they do. My check in process with Candence was one of the best I had, seldom you encounter friendly happy staff at hospitality industry. My checkout was also AWSOME, Paris with her great attitude and how she greeted everyone at the lobby (watched her interact with guests while having coffee) Coffee was good, that's my breakfast. Only draw back to my room 421 is it's next to busy interstate so you hear traffic. Other than that all good. Truly big shout to Candence and Paris.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rantoul, IL for a little over a week and absolutely loved it! The hotel is very clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was wonderful — friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. The breakfast buffet was very nice.It was above average, what you would expect from a hotel's continental breakfast.The food tasted fresh and hot.We ate there every morning. The amenities were great too: nice pool, relaxing hot tub, gym, business area, and meeting rooms. Although our trip was mainly to Champaign (only about 15 minutes south), we found this hotel to be more affordable, quieter, and a lot more relaxing than staying in the city. Highly recommend for both business and leisure stays!

All hotels in Champaign were booked for the weekend we wanted to stay so we booked for this location in Rantoul a town over. Linette specifically was so nice and gave us some recommendations on where to eat in town. Stay was decent until day of checkout-- I opted out of housekeeping by placing a card on the room's outside doorknob since we were busy getting ready. At around 10am, housekeeping still knocked to ask if we needed cleaning, and when I pointed to the sign to reiterate that we did not want them to clean yet, they asked me "are you not checking out today?" I said I was but it was still early (checkout is at noon), so then they asked me what time I was leaving. I don't understand why they were asking me that since I technically had the room until noon that day. I had told the person at the front desk about what happened and the explanation they gave me was that front desk provides staff with a list of which rooms still have guests, but that them knocking to ask anyway "happens a lot, you're not the only one." Seems like a useless process to give guests the option of opting out of housekeeping if we get bothered anyway.

My family and I had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was very clean and all staff were friendly and kind, especially to my children. The ladies who ran the continental breakfast did a great job of keeping everything hot, restocked and clean. One of them took time to help my children with the pancake maker and brought them special straws for their juice. The pool area had a strong mildew smell the first day of our stay, but the other days the pool exhaust seemed to be working again and they propped the doors open for more ventilation. I was worried before we stayed here because I read some bad reviews, but our experience was excellent and I’ll definitely be staying here in the future!

It's out of the way a bit, but the price is right. The bed and pillows were older, but clean. The breakfast is the usual hot breakfast, no fresh fruit. It was a good place to stop and spend the night.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Rantoul, Illinois for a little over a week, and it honestly felt just like home. From the moment we walked in, everyone was all smiles and super nice. Every staff member we met went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming — you can tell they really care about their guests. The hotel itself is super clean and looks great, all updated. Our room was bright, comfy, and had everything we needed. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub, and my husband totally used the fitness room. It was also cool having a business area and meeting rooms right there — they really thought of everything. Even though we were mainly going to Champaign, which is only about 15 minutes south, we were so glad we picked this place. It was quieter, cheaper, and just had this chill, small-town vibe that was perfect for us. We totally loved our stay and would for sure go back. If you’re looking for a clean, modern, and genuinely friendly place to stay near Champaign, this hotel is a great choice!

My wife and I were making a trip cross country, driving our daughter's car home from college. One of our stops was at this hotel. We have had many trips like this over the years and from experience, we will only ever stay at a Holiday Inn Express. As we arrived, we were greeted by the GM, and she was so courtious and accomodating...the staff at the Holiday Inn Expresses are always top notch and so welcoming. You really can't beat there hospitality. Of course Sandy had an exceptional breakfast in the morning and makes it point to greet the guests and make sure they are well fed and well taken care of.
